Job Description

Qualifications: Applications are to be preferably sent by e-mail to the Registrar Malta Arbitration Centre on , which Applications must be accompanied by relevant documentation including the Certificate of Conduct issued not earlier than 1 month from the date of application. Applications may also be submitted by hand or by mail addressed to the attention of The Registrar, Malta Arbitration Centre at 33, Palazzo Laparelli, South Street, Valletta VLT 1100 quoting Reference Number MAC/Clerk/24/1. Qualifications In possession of 4 Ordinary Level Passes [minimum Grade 5 or C], including Maltese, English and Mathematics In possession of the European Computer Driving Licence (E.C.D.L.) or International Certification of Digital Literacy (I.C.D.L.) Ability to work in a computerized environment including the use of standard software Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Maltese and English In possession of a highly diligent and committed approach to work Be self-motivated and able to work within defined frame-works and within set time-frames Be able to multi-task and work under minimum supervision Of Conduct which is appropriate to the post applied and must produce a Certificate of Conduct issued by the Police or other competent authority not earlier than one (1) month from the date of application. Experience: • A minimum of one (1) year experience in office work Clerical/secretarial experience in a legal office environment will be considered an asset Duties and Responsibilities a. Perform general office-related duties including, but not limited to, typing of documents, copying and scanning of documents, filing, data entry, data collection, operating office machinery and computer workstations; b. Carry out clerical and related duties in connection with the management of arbitration cases; c. Manage the Centre's Front desk, including, but not limited to, manning the Front Desk, handling of incoming and outgoing mail , receiving/relaying telephone messages, receiving documentation and directing customer/s and/or complaints to the relevant staff member; d.
